How you pay

Apply on the e-Visa system and submit the application to the Royal Thai Embassy in Islamabad. Then pay in person, in cash, at the embassy's visa gate, showing your application confirmation. Payment hours are 9:30 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm on working days, with shorter hours in Ramadan.

Applicants who submit to the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Karachi follow that mission's own payment instructions. Never pay anyone who offers to secure a visa for extra money: the embassy asks applicants to report such requests.

Worked examples

A honeymoon couple

Two single entry tourist visas cost 2 x Rs 13,000 = Rs 26,000.

A family of five on holiday

Two parents and three children on single entry tourist visas pay Rs 65,000.

A businessman who visits often

A 1-year multiple entry non-immigrant visa costs Rs 65,000, and a 3-year one Rs 130,000. Five separate single entry non-immigrant visas would cost Rs 130,000, so the 1-year visa is cheaper from the third trip.
