qaaf is a free calculator site for Pakistan. It works out the everyday numbers people ask about: tax on a salary, an electricity or gas bill, a university CGPA, an admission aggregate, a plot size, a passport fee, a government pay slip or a pension.
Who runs qaaf
qaaf is an independent site, written and run from Pakistan. It is not a government office, a bank, a consultancy or a property dealer, and it does not sell anything. Each calculator is built from the published rule behind it and checked against real documents before the page goes live.
The domain qaaf.com.pk once belonged to an online clothing shop. That shop has closed for good. Old product and shop links now return a "page removed" notice, and the site is now only these calculators.
Not affiliated with any authority
qaaf is not linked to FBR, NEPRA, OGRA, any electricity or gas company, PMDC, HEC, DGIP, NADRA or any university. We read the rules these bodies publish and turn them into calculators. For the final figure, your own bill, tax notice, result card or admission notice always takes priority.
How we check figures
Every calculator names the rule it follows, such as a Finance Act slab table, a NEPRA tariff decision, a university's grading table or a DGIP fee schedule, and lists its sources at the foot of the page. Before a page goes live we test it against worked examples: the electricity calculator reproduces a real bill line by line, and the tax slabs are checked at the last rupee of each slab and the first rupee of the next. Prices and rates that change, such as fuel adjustments, LPG, gold and fuel prices or exchange rates, live in one data file each, and the text on every page reads its figures from those files, so a new rate shows up everywhere at once. The full process is on how we check the numbers, and every correction we make is listed on the corrections page.
The maths runs in your browser, so working out a result does not send your salary, units or marks to us. Your entries do appear in the page address, which is how a shared link opens with the same figures. The GPA calculators can also keep your course list in your own browser until you clear it. The privacy policy explains both.

Found a wrong figure?
We would rather hear about a mistake than leave it on the site. Please tell us through the contact page. Say which page you used, what you entered and what your official bill or notice shows. We check every report, correct the page if we got it wrong and record the fix on the corrections page.
