Enter your K-Electric units and load. With the current adjustments, 320 units for an unprotected 2 kW home comes to about Rs 16,762, or Rs 52.38 per unit all in.

K-Electric supplies Karachi, plus Hub, Uthal, Vindar and Bela in Balochistan. Since February 2026 it charges the same uniform tariff as the government companies, and its fuel and quarterly adjustments are set in the same NEPRA decisions.

K-Electric unit rate list 2026

KE home rates are the national uniform rates in the table on the unit price page. For unprotected homes:

Worked example: 320 units, unprotected, 2 kW

At 320 units every unit is Rs 36.46.

At 300 units the same home would pay Rs 14,447.68. Those last 20 units cost far more than 20 units' worth, because all 320 units moved to the higher slab.

What is different about a KE bill

  • Same tariff since February 2026. Before that, KE had its own schedule. Older KE rate lists no longer apply.
  • Same adjustments. NEPRA set the fuel adjustment now on bills (Rs 1.1086) and the quarterly adjustment (Rs 0.5194) for KE in the same decisions as the other companies.
  • Electricity duty. KE's tariff page still shows 1.5% electricity duty for homes, so the duty box is left on.
  • Other lines. Some KE bills carry a municipal charge. It is not in the estimate, so add it yourself if your bill shows one.

When the fuel adjustment changes

NEPRA sets the fuel adjustment for each month after a public hearing, and it reaches bills two months later. The calculator uses the August 2026 fuel adjustment, billed in October 2026, Rs 1.1086 per unit. When a new figure is notified, type it into the FCA box; at 320 units every Rs 1 of fuel adjustment changes the bill by a little over Rs 380 once duty and GST are added.

Outside Karachi, the HESCO bill calculator and the QESCO bill calculator cover the nearest areas, on the same uniform tariff.
