units

The bill shows the FPA month, e.g. "FPA for JUL-26". Enter your units for that month from the 12-month history. Leave blank to use this month's units.

Quarterly adjustment billed September to November 2026. It can be negative, e.g. -0.45. Use the figure on your bill if it differs.

Ticked because many recent bills still show it. Untick it if your bill has no electricity duty line.

Non-filers pay 7.5% income tax when the bill is Rs 25,000 or more.

FESCO is the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company. It serves Faisalabad, Sargodha, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Mianwali, Bhakkar and Khushab. The tariff is the national uniform one, so the main things that change a FESCO bill are your units and your sanctioned load.

Worked example: 350 units, unprotected, 2 kW

At 350 units you are in the 301 to 400 slab. All 350 units are charged Rs 36.46.

How sanctioned load changes a FESCO bill

Fixed charges are billed per kW of sanctioned load, not per house. Many bigger homes in Faisalabad have a load of 3 kW or more, so this line matters.

Same 350 units, different loads:

Sanctioned load Fixed charges Estimated bill
1 kW Rs 400 Rs 17,772.26
2 kW Rs 800 Rs 18,244.26
3 kW Rs 1,200 Rs 18,716.26
5 kW Rs 2,000 Rs 19,660.26

A sanctioned load of 5 kW or more normally means a time of use (peak and off-peak) meter, which has different rates. This calculator is for loads under 5 kW.

FESCO unit rate and adjustments

FESCO base rates are the same as every other company's. See them on the unit price page. Each unit also carries:

  • fuel adjustment: Rs 1.1086 (August 2026 fuel adjustment, billed in October 2026)
  • quarterly adjustment: Rs 0.5194 (September, October and November 2026 bills)
  • FC surcharge: Rs 3.23 (Rs 0.43 on protected bills)

FESCO's area is in Punjab, where homes were exempted from electricity duty by a 2025 law. A Punjab bill from April 2026 still showed duty at 1.5%, so match the duty box to your own bill.

Reading your FESCO bill

The units consumed and sanctioned load are both printed on the bill. The load is in kW. If your bill shows the FPA or QTA per unit, you can type them into the adjustment boxes. The reference number is for paying and complaints; the calculator does not need it.

LESCO and MEPCO areas border FESCO's and bill on the same national tariff, so their calculators work the same way: the LESCO bill calculator and the MEPCO bill calculator.

Questions people ask

What is the FESCO unit rate?

FESCO homes pay the February 2026 NEPRA uniform rates. The 301 to 400 slab is Rs 36.46 per unit for unprotected users. With the current adjustments, surcharge and taxes, 350 units cost about Rs 52.13 per unit.

How do I find my sanctioned load?

It is printed on your FESCO bill in kW, near your connection details. Fixed charges are that number times the slab rate, for example 2 kW × Rs 400 = Rs 800 in the 301 to 400 slab.

Can I lower my FESCO fixed charges?

Fixed charges follow the sanctioned load recorded for your connection, and the slab your units fall in. Using fewer units can move you to a lower slab with a lower per kW rate. Changing the recorded load is a matter to raise with FESCO directly.

How much is a 400 unit FESCO bill?

About Rs 20,716 for an unprotected 2 kW home with the current adjustments, including duty and GST. At 401 units it rises to about Rs 22,197, as every unit moves to Rs 38.95.
