Online, non-filer. US$275, about Rs 76,178 plus 1% tax of Rs 762 = Rs 76,940.

Test centre or online?
The online exam costs US$275 against US$250 at a test centre, and its change fees are higher too. In return you avoid travel to a centre in another city. If you live near a test centre, the centre is the cheaper choice.
Your score is valid for five years, and you can retake after 16 days. Card statements show the charge as VUE*GRAD MGMT TEST for a test centre and TALVIEW.INC. for an online exam.
Other costs for an MBA abroad
Business schools may also ask for an English test: see the TOEFL fee or the IELTS fee. Some programmes accept the GRE (US$249) instead of the GMAT, which is worth comparing before you book. Degree documents usually need HEC attestation. The same dollar conversion and card tax apply to every test paid abroad, from the SAT fee for undergraduate admission to the USMLE fee for doctors heading to the US.
