Standard or late entry

Late entry costs much more. An Applied Skills exam goes from £143 to £366, and each Strategic Professional exam rises to £406. Entering two Applied Skills exams late costs about Rs 307,012 for a new student, against Rs 143,027 at standard entry.

Set a reminder for the standard entry deadline of each session. Late entry is a penalty for missing it, not a separate service.

Exemptions are charged per exam

If your degree or another qualification earns exemptions, ACCA charges for each one you accept: £84 for an Applied Knowledge exam and £111 for an Applied Skills exam.

For example, three Applied Knowledge exemptions and two Applied Skills exemptions cost £474, about Rs 174,280 for a filer. That is still less than sitting those exams, but it is a real cost to plan for.

Applied Knowledge exams

Business and Technology (BT), Management Accounting (MA) and Financial Accounting (FA) are on-demand computer based exams. ACCA does not list Pakistan for remote on-demand exams, so they are taken at a computer based exam (CBE) centre, and the centre sets its own fee.

Enter the number of these exams and the fee your centre quotes in the calculator. It is added to the total as quoted, without the card tax, because you pay the centre directly.
